Developmental Psychology

Developmental Psychology deals with the description and explanation of changes in experience and behavior over the entire lifespan. It examines biological, social, emotional and cognitive processes.

Main areas of research:

  • Typical and atypical development of reading & spelling, number processing & arithmetic

  • Dyslexia in different orthographies

  • Neurocognitive foundations of dyslexia and dyscalculia

  • Support for learning disorders

  • Cognitive and affective mechanisms of programming and computational thinking
